In Gune 2026, Bolzano will host a stage of the European Elite Circuit promoted by Badminton Europe for the first time.
This sporting event called "YONEX Italian Open 26" will take place from June 25 to 28, 2026 at PalaSport in Bolzano.
The local Club "Sport Promotion Bolzano" has managed to involve the world-class technical partner (YONEX Germany), which will support the event by setting up the sport hall with the best equipment approved BWF (including 6 mats).
The event will also be supported by the Regione Autonoma Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol and the Municipality of Bolzano.

After the entry deadline, based on the number of entries, the provisional schedule was updated:
Thursday 25/6 - 9:00h: ALL QR (except QR16 MS)
Friday 26/6 - 9:00h: QR16 MS + R32
Saturday 27/6 - 9:00h: R16 + QF
Sunday 28/06 - 9:00h: SF + F
